Cancer!!

As I walked into the Intensive-Care Unit of KK Women's and Childrens Hospital this evening, a sense of fear and anger overcomed me as i came face to face with my Auntie.She was diagnosed as having Cerivx Cancer of the Fourth stage and we hardly knew anything.Clueless as the GP who has been treating her all these past months,i can't fathom the ignorance on his part.Never in my wildest dreams that i will face death in such close proximity.

We all have our petty differences, come what may;in the end, we're all gonna face the Almighty Lord in our own sorry state.My Auntie isn't in that state.Rather, she's fighting for her life! Never have i seen such strength in someone, with all the tubes attached(feeding ones) and able to recognise me in an instant.

As I treked out of the ICU,a sense of sadness overcomed me!
